     US 119 passes north and south through Connellsville less than a mile away.  I-76 and I-70 are the major routes to due east and northwest; I-68 goes to the east through Maryland and I-79 the southwest.


     The Amtrak passenger train stops in Connellsville on the Capitol Limited route from Chicago, Cleveland, Pittsburgh to Washington, DC.  The Amtrak passenger station is less than a mile from Fox Castle.


    Many visitors in spring, summer and fall arrive in Connellsville on the GAP Trail from Pittsburgh through Cumberland and Frostburg, Maryland all the way to Washington, DC.
